First Field Trip

Obviously I am WAY behind on posting. Eliana and I are on a short vacation visiting family, so I will hopefully be able to use some of this time to catch up! One decision that Kevin and I have not regreted at all since moving to Mexico City is enrolling Eliana in her little preschool two mornings a week. She absolutely loves it and we have loved seeing her learn and integrate into the culture in so many ways. At the end of April Eliana's class took a field trip to the National Palace where they had a special display about the kings of Spain and rulers and presidents of Mexico. It was really neat and the docents did an awesome job of bringing it to the kids' level (that of mostly 2 and 3 year olds). Here are a few of our pictures.

Learning about the kings of Spain...

and their painters.

Eliana got chosen to be dressed up as the king, but she wasn't too into it. Two seconds later she burst into tears.

Teacher Viki and Valeria were the substitutes!

All the little girls love Luis (the little one in the middle)

Right after hand sanitizer

First time at McDonalds, and first Happy Meal.
